Every time this happened I would open my own school and not allow learning unless of course it were on a skateboard.
Don't worry lady we'll be back.

You might ask yourself...

Why are there photos of Me, Ben Karpenski, and Nick Garcia at a batting cage?
Well come back on Wednesday and find out why.

July 2nd Bike Night...

Last night was bike night, great turn out, great bikes, great times.
Thanks to everyone that came out.
See you next month.

Before...

Last night I met Chuck Horton and his 37 year old Norton.
I thought to myself, wow this bike is as old as I am, and much better looking.

After...

Below are a few (of hundreds) photos that Chuck sent me, of the process of making his 72' Norton the way it looks now.

Chuck Horton's 72 Norton.

Nice work Chuck, nice work. Thanks again for the before and after photos.

Day 2

This was on our way out of Bishop. We had a rough night of drinking, and wrestling,

Sir Text-a-lot

Nate is the only person I know that is sending text messages every chance he gets.
Here he is texting either my Mom or Vicky, or may be even both.

Jose Rojo...

Hooked up with Jose Rojo while up north.

Dream Spot...

Rojo and Kyle took us to a very secret spot in... well lets just say Huntington Beach, Texas.
Thanks again guys for taking us to your dream spot.

Who needs to buy wood...

We were just about to make a run to Home Depot for some wood, when we found this.

Line it up...

In order to hit the hip we had to make a runway, with a roll in ramp.

Lay it down...

We need a runway.

Hammer Time...

After realizing we needed more wood for the roll in, we had to find a hammer (2x4) and nails.
Jose puts the hammer down, while filmer/photographer KYLE CAMARILLO over sees

Best spot...

Got to skate this until the sun went down. Lines for days.

Found this...

Brought it home, cleaned it up, and now it's my new office phone.
Classic.

Hands down...

GABERMAN was there, photo of the day went to Nick Garcia hands down.

Setting up shop...

Camping Round 2

Headed up to Skate Camp last weekend with Tim Tim, Nick Garcia, Julian Davison, and Levi Brown.
They just built a new Mini Ramp that is seriously the best mini ramp I've ever skated.

John Demar takes a break

New Edition...

This was the only thing I skated the entire time I was there. It was the PERFECT mini ramp.
Can't wait to go back in 2 weeks.

Constant Reminder...

At the base of Stoney Creek is this sign. Its been here for over 10 years.

You got that right...

The water is ice cold, and the rocks if wet will but you on your ass or in Julians case in the river.

The Journey Begins...

Stoney Creek is not a tourist spot, every time I've been there we've had the whole place to ourselves. Hopefully it will stay that way.

Hop, skip, and a jump...

In order to get to the Natural Rock Slides you have to take a hop, skip and a jump down the gorge.
Nick has it down, cigarette in one hand, Banquets in the other.

Nick and Julian...

Nick and Julian are cousins, and rip harder and better than you on a skateboard.
This was Julians first time to Stoney Creek, and I'm sure it won't be his last.

Natural Rock Slides

Stoney Creek is full of natural rock slides, and small pools.
Normally we would be sliding down this natural rock slide, but since the Sun had gone down,
all we could do is stare at it.
Next time we'll get there earlier.

Keep em cold...

Sequoia National Forest

Skate Camp is about 30 minutes south of the Sequoia National Forest.
So of course we had to make a quick stop to check out these big ass trees.'
At one point this tree was used as a Saloon, Kitchen, and Sleeping quarters for loggers.
The whole that Chad is looking out of was used as a vent for the kitchen.

General Grant Sequoia

Its really hard to appreciate the size of these giant ass trees.
This is the 3rd largest tree
Height (feet) 268.1
Circumference (feet) 107.5
Volume (cubic feet) 46,608

I'll be back...

Saturday June 20th

I went to this last year and it was a blast. So you should go this year.
Beers, Bikes, Bands, Boards, and BOOBS.
You'd be an idiot not to.

Happy Birthday Nick...

Today is Nick Garcia's 20th birthday. I would like to say this is a photo of Chad giving Nick a Travel Well
Cruiser board but it isn't, and he didn't. Happy 20th buddy.

Rock skating is hot in 2009...

Nick took us to a secret spot of his, and of course as soon as we got there we got the boot.
But we will be back...

Killing Time...

Since we got the boot from the rock spot, we figured we would kill sometime until the coast was
clear.

Class of 1990...

I saw this poster at the rock spot, and it reminded me of the time my Mom ask me if I wanted my Senior Yearbook, and my response to her was "Hell nah Ma, I don't care about those hicks, buy me a skateboard instead." Pretty ironic that this is a poster for yearbooks with skateboarders on it, I wonder if they really want a year book.

Posse Up...

We had a damn crew with us.

Today was a good day...

Everyone put something down on the ole rock spot. Funny thing is when we first got there I thought to myself no one would even want to skate it. The crew checking out Tim Tim sequence .

6/14/09

Storm Riders...

We hit a few bad storms on this trip. This one in particular stood out because of the lightning, rain, and tremendous wind.
As soon as I saw this cloud I new it was time to pull over and put the rain gear on.
Road Trip 09

Things you see...

As soon as I saw this guy a passed him to get in front
of him so a could get off my bike and shoot a photo of him.
Not sure where he was going but, he's probably still on the road.

Cathedral Gorge

This was one of the best campsites, we basically had the whole place to ourselves.

Breakfast...

I couldn't resist.

Priority...

Wyoming State Line.

Jamie gets a little off road action at the Wyoming State Line.

What's that brown cloud...

On our way to Yellow Stone a truck coming the opposite way, full of cows hit a turn the same time we
did shifting all the piss and cow shit out of the side of the truck and on to our faces. Nothing like a cow shit
facial in the morning. This was moments after that happened.

Bear Lake.

Camping in Bear Lake was awesome, until the next morning when my bike wouldn't start, my tail light was out, and dropping my bike in the parking lot. Not really how I wanted to start my day.

6/13/09

Still in the shop.

So the 67 has got some issues with it. It's been in the shop for over a month now.
I just want it back before summer ends.

The Candy Man Can...

Jon Hall decided to skip the process of going to someone like BLUE MOON KUSTOMS for a paint job and did it himself. Krylon, Glitter, Masking Tape, and Clearcoat. Nice work... I think.

6/11/09

Idaho Church...

When I saw this church I instantly thought of my friend BRIAN GABERMAN.

Bonneville Salt Flats...

For obvious reasons no land speed records were set that day.
It was still cool being there.

Long Beach CA

Let's do this. Yellow Stone here we come...

South Coast Plaza...

Motorcycles are so hot right now. Saw this in South Coast Plaza the other day.

The $1.00 Black Bonnie...

Went to a party and the guy throwing it told me he found this bike on the side of the road in SF, he left a note with his number,
3 days later the owner called and said if he was willing to come and pick it up he could have it.
When he came to pick it up the bill of sale had $1.00 on it.
Little bit of love and it'll be back on the street.

We heard of the curved ledge in Culver City, turns out it sucked.
Oh well I got a web clip.
